My Bag in the GOLFTEC Clubhouse

One of the newest additions to your GOLFTEC Clubhouse is My Bag; an area to list and track what clubs you have in your bag and how you hit each. No matter what tees you play from, or what courses you prefer, knowing your distances is integral to playing better golf. Using the My Bag feature in the Clubhouse, you can always have a personal caddy with you to determine which club you should use in any given situation. If you are a GOLFTEC+ Subscriber, My Bag works in conjunction with your GPS to suggest what club to use based on where you are on any hole, but you need to fill it out first.

Below, we'll discuss where to find My Bag in the Clubhouse, and how to go about setting it up on your profile to help you on your journey to swing better!

To access My Bag from the GOLFTEC Clubhouse on you computer's browser (mobile app instructions below), select Stats > My Bag.

Once there, scroll through the different listed clubs and, using the slider next to each club, mark* which ones you keep in your bag, and ignore the ones you don't.

*A gray slider indicates "Not in My Bag", and a green slider indicates "In My Bag".

Once you've selected the clubs that you carry, or as you're selecting them, you can click on each individual club to input details about that club. You can save the make and model, your average distance and distance range, and even include a picture and loft if you have been custom fitted! Simply input those specifics for each club and click Save so that you can always pull that up in your Clubhouse, no matter how you access it.

To add your clubs to My Game in the GOLFTEC Clubhouse Mobile App, select My Game > Stats > My Bag.

On the next screen, you can select the Edit Icon to be able to update what clubs you carry and what your average distances are.

I will prompt you to choose to Add/Remove Clubs, and you can also choose to do a Quick Setup or Manual Setup.

If you choose to Add/Remove Clubs, you'll be able to scroll through the various kinds of clubs and select the clubs you carry, and deselect the clubs you don't. Once you've chosen the clubs in your bag, simply tap Done to save those changes.

If you choose Quick Setup, you will be asked to input your average Driver distance. From there, the GOLFTEC Clubhouse will give a general estimate of the distance for each of your other clubs. Just input the average distance, select Next, and the Clubhouse will do the rest!

If you prefer to go in and input the distances individually, or if you try the Quick Setup option and it doesn't seem quite right, you can always choose to manually input the distances for each club so that it reflects your distances properly. Simply choose the club you'd like to update, input your distances at the top, and select Update in the upper right. You can also update your Make, Model, Loft, and add a photo of each club on that screen.

Once you select Update for each club you wish to update, those changes are automatically saved to your Clubhouse to be used whenever you want to look back at them.
