TECSWING 64 Bay Display Setup
STEP 1: Right click on the desktop and select “Display Settings”
STEP 2: Click the "Identify" button. Numbers will appear on each screen that correspond to the numbers on each display you see in the menu. Determine which numbers are on the coach monitor and televisions.
STEP 3: Select the number that represents the coach monitor and then scroll down to where it says Multiple displays. If the checkbox for "Make this my main display" is already checked, leave this alone. Otherwise, place a checkmark in this box so that this is selected as the primary monitor where the start menu and icons appear.
STEP 4: Based on what you see when you click “Identify”, drag the numbered displays around such that all 3 displays are lined up vertically.
- FSX is the upper TV (TOP)
- Student Display is the lower TV (MIDDLE)
- Coach Desk Monitor is the bottom-most display (BOTTOM)
that the lower TV (TECSWING student screen) is to the left of your coach monitor and the upper tv (ball flight screen) is to the top of your coach monitor. Click Apply to save this layout.
Click on each display and set the scale 100% and the display resolution to 1920x1080.
STEP 5: Open FSX. Click the “Settings” icon in the upper-right-hand corner. Then select the “Settings” tab on the left. Use the display drop-down menu to select which screen it opens on. These numbers do not correspond with what is in the Windows display settings so you may need to select a display from the menu and hit apply until it is on the correct screen.
STEP 6: Open TECSWING and load up a student practice. Press F12 on the keyboard and it will move where the student screen is currently being displayed.
